Garypco 2
sorry but what about the advice <{POST_SNAPBACK}> FIRST GET YOURSELF A COUPLE OF BOOKS YOU WONT GO WRONG WITH SOMETHING LIKE EXTREME LURCHERWORK BY J DACRCY ITL GIVE YOU AN INSIGHT TO SOME OF THE MORE SERIOUS SIDE OF LURCHERS HAVE A LOOK SEE WHAT YOU THINK IF ITS JUST RABBITS GO FOR AN ORIGINAL LIKE A COLLIE GREYHOUND YOU WONT GO FAR WRONG,JUST REMEMBER THERE ARE PLENTY OF IDIOTS OUT THERE SO USE SOMEONE YOU KNOW,TO GET A DECENT PUP FROM,IF YOU'VE BEEN SHOOTING A WHILE THERE MUST BE SOMEONE YOU KNOW WITH RUNNING DOGS HAVE A CHAT WITH THEM,IF YOU WANT AN ADULT READY TO GO I WOULDNT RECKOMEND IT,AS THERES ALOT OF REJECT STUFF OUT THERE YOU MIGHT BE LUCKY,BUT ALWAYS GET A DOG ON TRIAL!!THAT WAY YOU COULD ALWAYS TAKE IT BACK IF I WASNT GOOD ENOUGH!! GOOD LUCK ANYHOW!!! Quote Link to post

Guest arra
if it is mainly for rabbits any sort of wippet cross would work but if you whant a good all round dog i would surgest a beddlington/grey. Quote Link to post

scouse moocher 0
Brickie [bANNED TEXT] ... If your main quarry is rabbits but u would prefer somthing that will be just as keen on fox id suggest a Beddy X greyhound mix ... This is not to say that any other cross will not take fox, just beddy X's IMO make great all rounders and are as game as anything ... As for dog or bitch ... thats realy your preference ... There are People who say bitches are more loyal, yet others suggest having a working lurcher bitch is a nusance due to coming into season half way through YOUR season lol ... but i dnt take no notice both work for me. I agree with the above comments too, J Darcys Extreme Lurcher Work is an excellent book to read when you want to know what its all about Good Luck in whatever Cross you choose ant Quote Link to post
